From Flight Nurse to Adult Entertainer…

🎉 Happy 1-year Anniversary to me!

Today, Sept 19th, marks the anniversary of two very significant events for me!

  1. 🇨🇦 🇺🇸 The day I became an American Citizen!

  2. 🚨🚑 🚁 The day I became an UNEMPLOYED American Citizen! (When I got fired from my job as a Flight Nurse because they found out about my OnlyFans!)

I had worked in the medical field as a Paramedic for 23 years and as a “Nurse” for 16, working the last six years for various companies as a Flight Paramedic/Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). I would travel by ambulance, fixed-wing airplane, or helicopter to smaller community hospitals to pick up critically, sick and injured children, babies, and extremely premature babies in incubators, to transport them to state of the art facilities such as Duke, UNC, and Wake Med.

I loved my job and was extremely good at it. To be honest… There's only a handful of people in the state and in the country that are even qualified to DO my job! I have undergone rigorous training and years of experience to get my Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science (with a Major in Respiratory Therapy), a Master’s Degree in Public Health (specializing in Epidemiology), a Canadian AND American Diploma of Paramedicine, in addition to a multitude of other courses and certifications including: Flight Paramedic, Critical Care Paramedic, Adult Critical Care Specialist, Neonatal-Pediatric Specialist, Neonatal-Pediatric Transport, as well as all the annual certifications required to maintain my credentials and licenses.

At the end of my 24-hour shift, I received a text and email from my boss asking me to report to headquarters at 11 AM (on my day off), for a meeting with him and his boss. Not only was I exhausted from flying all night, but I had a very important meeting scheduled for 1 PM - I was completing my Naturalization Interview! After a lot of back-and-forth with my boss, we agreed to an online meeting sometime after 4 PM, when I figured I would be finished.

I couldn't help but think that this was not good - Talk about stress and impending doom!

I reported to the Citizen and Immigration Office for my Naturalization Interview and Civics Test. I passed with flying colors, and was fortunate enough to be able to attend the Naturalization Ceremony that was taking place an hour later! I took my Oath of Allegiance, and finally became an American Citizen!

Around 4:45 PM, I was able to login for the online meeting. I had no idea what it was about, but was prepared for the worst given the late hour of the day and the fact that my boss said it HAD to happen today (even though I wasn’t back to work for another three days).

I had separated from my husband about 10 months earlier, and started an OnlyFans account in an effort to make ends meet after moving out on my own. I started off slow, with some Live Cam shows on PeeksSocial and developed a small following from my Dominatrix and Fetish content.

In May 2023, I began promoting myself on public social platforms in an effort to reach a greater audience and increase my online following and revenue. I created a new Facebook profile, which apparently linked to the contacts in my phone, suggesting to personal (and work) contacts that they may know ‘Kora Bell’.

Some of my colleagues found out about my OnlyFans side hustle. The rumor mill began and my boss found out. I was always professional at work, and never filmed or posted any content while on the clock.

What I did on my own time in my personal life, was my own businessOr so I thought!

During the online meeting, I was given verbal and written Notification of Termination (by email) “based on a number of factors”. The letter stated that I violated the Attendance Policy, even though I had been hospitalized for two weeks with Scarlett fever, three months earlier. I had Doctor’s notes excusing my absences, and on one occasion I even showed up to work, but was sent home by my supervisor because I looked extremely ill. Additionally, the dates written on the Termination Notification were incorrect, and per the Attendance Policy, I should have received a Documented Counselling when I returned to work at the end of June!

My boss verbally eluded to some personal conduct issues (of which I had none) and the letter stated that my “performance and/or conduct does not meet acceptable standards” and as a result, my “employment as an employee is terminated effective Sept 19, 2023.”

It was a bit of a shock, and a hard pill to swallow at first...

I had a busy week and continued on with it per the norm, and took my son to the beach that weekend.

Silently, I was waiting for rock bottom to hit and for my complete mental breakdown! But after a couple weeks, it sill hadn’t happened…. I realized that I was actually HAPPY not having to go to work every day!

When I reflected on the months prior to getting fired, I realized just how much had happened in my life. Besides separating from my husband, I had worked in the medical field in Canada, Saudi Arabia and the USA for over 20 years - working through SARS, H1N1, MERS, and COVID. In the last year alone, I had endured a lot of mental and emotional turmoil from so many traumatizing calls where babies and children had passed away.

I started viewing getting fired as a blessing in disguise, and a break from it all. I was determined to make the most out of it! And conveniently enough, as an American citizen I was even eligible for unemployment!

I worked hard to promote myself on social media and started filming more. I began networking with other Creators and became more involved in the local Swinger community.

In November 2023, I attended my first adult entertainment convention - Exxxotica New Jersey. This led to more connections and I began shooting vanilla porn/MILF content.

From there, I attended Exxxotica DC and the AVN Awards in Vegas. I landed my first mainstream shoot with Private Society in March 2024. I continued attending events such as Exxxotica Chicago, the GRABBY Awards in Malaga, Spain, XBiz Miami, Exxxotica Miami, and the ASN Awards.

Through promoting myself on social media, attending events, networking, and shooting content with other Creators, I was offered more paid shoots and I have since shot with amateur porn companies such as Private Society, ChickPass and The Flourish.

Today, I think back to where I was a year ago… A normal person with a love-hate relationship with my job, a fun side-hustle, and generally unhappy with my life.

Fast-forward to today and I'm proud of how far I’ve come in such a short time! I never thought I would be doing adult entertainment and porn - But here I am and I'm loving it, and I've met some absolutely amazing people along the way! I have so many exciting opportunities and trips booked for the next few months and I’m chasing bigger and better things! I can't wait to see what this next year has to offer!
